Things to Do and see
The island has many attractive beaches ranging from un-spoilt naturals coves and bays to family packed amenities. These include scuba diving, banana boat, Jet skis, sailing, pedalos and fishing trips.
Restaurants and Shopping
Situated one mile from the beach, the village of Ozankoy boasts a number of Restaurants serving traditional and European cuisine. There is a brand new large Supermarket which has many local and European products. Bars and restaurants only a few minutes walk away , some even serving traditional Sunday roast !
Kyrenia Castle which is sited on the edge of the harbour keeps you entertained with deep dungeons and displays and spectacular views from the battlements over surrounding area. It also houses the oldest shipwreck in the world which is a must for everyone to see.
Bellapais is set up on the mountainside and is home to an ancient 16th century monastery which now has lovely gardens and restaurants. Traditional handicrafts shops are entwined with Cypriot Restaurants & bars which have full Meze menus and special belly dancing evenings.
For the golf fans there is a brand new 18 hole golf course at Essentepe and a 30 bay driving range.
Springtime has beautiful wild flower scenery which only enhances the tranquil olive grove surrounding our Villa.
